This pair of mittens is featured in my book: Friendship Mitten Book - Techniques for Knitting & Designing Latvian Mittens published in September, 2023.

I used TINES yarn - a yarn sourced in Latvia on a 2mm (US0). Getting gauge is critical - please do a gauge swatch over the two-color chart of the mitten hand. One could also use Hea 7/2 (from Estonia), Rauma, or Satakieli.

The mittens are sized for a medium hand, producing an 8” mitten in circumference once blocked. To size up or down with this pattern go up or down in needle size.
