Fringed Benefits is worked from one tip to the other with a lacy panel in the center. A four inch fringe is then added to the bottom of the shawl to give it that little extra oomph. This is the absolute. PERFECT shawl for Spring. Quick and easy to knit and open and airy enough to work in all types of climates.
Yarn: Approx 430 yds of fingering weight yarn. Sample shown in Storyteller Yak Yarn, 70% SW Merino, 20% Yak, 10% Nylon.
Dimensions (AFTER BLOCKING): 62 inch wingspan, 14 inch depth (including fringe).
Needles: US size 5.
Notions: Tapestry needle, crochet hook
Gauge: 32 stitches by 40 rows is 4 inches in garter stitch on US size 5s.
