The Fringed Suede Bag is a quick weekend project that will have all your friends asking you to make them one too.

Materials:
Yarn: 4 skeins of Berroco Suede (100% nylon, 120 yards / 50g)

  • Sample used 2 strands of 3705 Wrangler (Blue) for the bag, and 1 strand of Wrangler with 1 strand of 3763 Tombstone (Grey) for the two-toned fringe. A 5th skein in a contrast color is needed for the two-tone fringe. For a solid-color bag, only 4 skeins of Suede are needed.

Hooks:
Size H (5 mm) crochet hook

Gauge:
14 sts = 4” holding your yarn doubled. The gauge is not critical for this project but the fabric should be firm to hold its shape.

Note:
The pattern is worked with the yarn held doubled throughout the project.
