Crocheted frog fastener made in two identical pieces includes instructions for crocheting two covered buttons, with a photo tutorial on making a Clones knot. The buttons are fastened with crocheted loops.

Pattern requires one ball of DMC Cebelia 10, 295 yds. (270m). Color 712 was used.

Also required:
2 metal button forms, Dritz Home Half Ball Cover Buttons #44413, size 1 1/8” (2.9 cm)
Small piece lightweight cotton fabric to cover button form in color to match crochet thread
#24 tapestry needle to weave in ends

Finished measurements: each piece, 2 1/2” (6.4 cm) x 5 1/4” (13.3 cm) with 1 1/2” (3.8 cm) loops.
