From Sea To Stone Crochet Throw

MYSTERY CROCHET ALONG START 10 JULY 2026

What you will crochet:

A centered mandala squared and followed by several variety rounds and then a border.

This crochet along is divided into 8 parts.

Inspired by the tranquil beauty of ocean blues, sun-warmed sands, and weathered stone, this brand-new mystery continuous blanket will take us on a relaxing crochet journey filled with beautiful textures, calming colours, and plenty of surprises along the way.

Difficulty Level | Skills Required
Adventurous Beginner to Intermediate

Basic stitches in simple variations, simple repeats, color changes, shaping and finishing.

You will need to know basic stitches like SC (single crochet) and DC (double crochet).
Special stitches explained and provided in the instructions.

Materials
Hook – 3, 50 mm (E) and 4, 00 mm (G)
Scissors
Yarn needle

Yarn:
Vinnis Colours – DK Nikkim 100% cotton (50 grams/119 meters/130 yards)
Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3: Light. – Approx. 1450 grams / 3451 meters / 3770 yards (29 balls)

The yarn count is approxmiate - I over compensate due to design and tension. 

• A - Princess Blue Bell x 2
• B - Blue Canard x 2
• C - Pacific Blue x 3/4
• D - Sand x 3
• E - Camel x 3
• F - Antique x 4/5
• G - Natural x 4
• H - Stone x 4
• E - Slate x 5

Yarn Substitute:
Using the same type of yarn throughout the project is recommended. The pattern suggests DK yarn (Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3: Light Worsted), but you are not limited to this type of yarn. Any yarn can be used if you take into consideration your sizing for the project will differ.

Tension | Gauge
Gauge is NOT necessary for this project to be perfect.
However COUNTING your stitches will ensure a true success of this project!

Size
Final Blanket Size including border -
Approx. Length and width = 121 x121 cm (48 x 48 inches)

Remember – if you use/choose a different yarn weight/hook size your blanket will be a different size!
