A soft , lightweight scarflette that gently spirals,
evoking fern fronds unfurling in the spring.

MATERIALS
● Malabrigo Rios,
100% Merino wool,
100g/192m/210yds
Yarn A: Glitter 048 x 1 skein
Yarn B: Lettuce 037 x 1 skein
Yarn C: Cereza 033 x 1 skein
● 5mm hook

YARN ALTERNATIVES
Any worsted or aran-weight
superwash wool or wool blend
can be used to achieve a similar
effect. Less than 100g of each
colour is required to complete
the project in the featured size;
the actual amount of Malabrigo
Rios used was approximately
70g of yarn A, and 35g each of
yarns B and C.

TENSION
Exact tension is not essential
for this project. The length
of the scarf can easily
be adjusted to your own
requirements by changing
the length of the foundation
treble row: crochet a multiple
of 3+1 trebles in a foundation
row approximately 15cm/6in
shorter than the required
final length when slightly
stretched.
