Fronde Shawl
A classic triangular shawl with a romantic look, Fronde Shawl is started with a stockinette stitch tab. Yarn over increases are worked next to the spine and at both ends. The garter stitch background is an ideal canvas for some pretty leaves that “grow” on stems and later feature in the beautiful border.
Materials
2 skeins of 4 ply (fingering weight) of 400 metres/418 yards per 100 grams). Exact amount used: 190 grams, 760 metres/831 yards. If playing yarn chicken, BO used 3 grams :) and the second 100g skein was started just before the edge.
