Frost Fair Set
Taking popular Fair Isle motifs and working them in cheerful colours on a dark background, Mary Henderson has created this lovely tam and mittens. Both items start with a provisional cast-on and a brim/cuff lining in a contrasting red colour; this is then folded inwards to begin the Fair Isle fabric. The top of the hat has a stunning snowflake wheel motif. Mary has used Jamieson & Smith’s Jumper Weight Shetland wool.
