Frosted Leaves
When I was working on this design, I was imagining walking through my garden looking at leaves covered with overnight frost. The pattern contains nupps which are not to everyone’s taste. If you really don’t want to do them, you can replace them with no 6 seed beads of leave them out completely.
This design is perfect for a gradient yarn or you can knit it in different colors for each section, or just knit it in your favorite color.
This pattern is semi circular and constructed using Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Pi construction where the number of stitches are doubled after every section
All the stitch patterns used in this shawl are based on leaves and are from the Estonian style of knitting.
