Because the eyes and nose require such small amounts of yarn, this project is a great way to use up small scraps of worsted weight yarn you may have left over from other projects.

GAUGE
With size 9 (5.5 mm) needles in stockinette stitch, 18 sts x 28 rows= 4 in (10 cm)
NOTES
Baby hat pattern is written first in this pattern. Other sizes are written next with 12 month coming first and (toddler, child) in parentheses
Eyes and nose are created in the same manner for all sizes and instructions are written at the bottom of the pattern
