Gauge (4-ply sock yarn):
30 stitches and 40 rows = 10 × 10 cm

Materials needed – Option 1 (Alpaca 4-ply):
Kremke Edelweiss Alpaca 4-ply (25 g = 100 m / 109 yd)
65% virgin wool, 25% polyamide, 10% alpaca

✱ 3 balls color 19 (dark orange)
✱ Small/scrap quantity color 44 (cactus)

Materials needed – Option 2 (Classic 4-ply Non-Superwash):
Kremke Edelweiss Classic 4-ply Non-Superwash (100 g = 420 m / 459 yd)
75% virgin wool, 25% polyester (recycled PET bottles)

✱ 1 ball color 408 (warm orange)

Needles:
✱ 2.5 mm (US 1.5) DPNs (set of 5) or long circular needles (or size needed to obtain correct gauge)

The yarn quantities are sufficient for one pair of socks in sizes EU 37–42. Adjust yarn amounts accordingly for smaller or larger sizes.
