This is the first pattern in a series of designs that combine crochet lace with Intarsia to create a garment that is light and practical for every day life.
The pattern contains instructions for making the dress, as well as BONUS instructions for making a tshirt & skirt co-ord (plus shorts/trousers if you are experienced)
CONSTRUCTION
This garment is worked top-down, round yoke & seamless. The neckline is lacy, the chest and torso are worked using back loop single crochet for a breezy, light feel. The shoulders have each a 6x repeating flower pattern of stranded crochet made using the Intarsia technique. The flower motif is inspired by a beautiful mosaic tile from the time of George V
