Whenever I serve tea, whether just for myself or for friends, I always have a tea cozy on hand to cover the pot so the tea will stay warm. This cozy is practical in several ways—the double layers plus stranding really hold in the heat; making the cozy provides practice with a provisional cast-on; and it can be used for informal or formal teas depending on which side you display. If you don’t have a teapot, you can always wear this cozy as a cap!
