The Fun Fur Cowl is knitted in the round as a seamless tube, starting with a provisional cast-on. Once complete, the ends are grafted together to form the cowl, and the fabric is brushed with a metal tool to achieve its faux-fur effect.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Height: 10” / 25 cm
Circumference: 29” / 74 cm

YARN
Weight: Super Bulky
To achieve the fuzzy effect, use a single-ply yarn close to roving. If the yarn has multiple plies twisted together, it will not brush out.
160 yd / 146 m
2 skeins of Super Bulky from Hedgehog Fibres

Sample shown in Super Bulky from Hedgehog Fibres (100% superwash Merino wool; 90 yd / 82 m per 150 g skein) in the “Lone Wolf” colourway

NEEDLES
Circular needles, 16” / 40 cm in length, US 15 / 10 mm, or size needed to match gauge
You will also need a second pair of needles to hold the live stitches from the provisional cast-on when seaming.
