Furballs’ Catch of the Day is a 9” x 4” fish shaped true double layer potholder knitted seamlessly in two strings (though it can be done in one string too if ignoring the intarsia pattern). No sewing necessary. It is made up of a combo of stitch patterns to form an unique texture surface to improve the compliance in folding up along the mid line (widthwise) and gripping power. It is highly “compact” so the chance of extra fabric dipping into the hot liquid in the pot or hanging outside the pot and getting burned is minimized.

Yardage breakdown:
Yarn A, 38 yd (cotton), 21 yd (acrylic)
Yarn B, 33 yd (cotton), 18 yd (acrylic)

Difficulty level is at easy and suitable for intermediate beginner and above.

The project will take about four (4) hours to complete.

Enjoy the knitting :)
