I’ve always loved 90’s fashion. There are so many bits and pieces I like to pull from this clothing era, from fuzzy sweaters to plaid pants to turtlenecks. When I first came across Caron Latte Cakes yarn, I was instantly reminded of the fuzzy sweaters frequently worn by Rachel Green in the show Friends.

This chic winter sweater is crocheted with a textured novelty yarn to produce a fuzzy sweater reminiscent of those especially popular in the 90’s and early 2000’s. This budget-friendly yarn produces a beautiful sweater with an unexpected texture that can’t be achieved with regular yarn.

Caron Latte Cakes is labeled as a category #5, bulky weight yarn but works up more like a category #4, heavy worsted weight yarn. Substitute Caron Latte Cakes with any similar category 4 (worsted or heavy worsted) or category 5 (bulky) yarn that matches gauge.
