Gabardine
Who says shawls have to be lacy and delicate? Ribbing makes a fantastic fabric for a casual, everyday piece that works with any style.
NOTES
* A slightly unusual shaping creates an extra wide piece with some curl at the edges for an enveloping wrap.
-
The pattern calls for 2 skeins of yarn, and the individual sections are set by yardage/yarn used. No counting of stitches required, but you will need a digital scale.
-
The pattern calls for different increases to be worked on the edges from those in the centre. If you prefer, you can use the ‘plain’ backwards loop M1 for all.
-
Throughout the pattern, slip markers as you come across them if not specified.

GAUGE
