Le Français suit plus bas

Inspired by the three-dimensional textiles of designer Aleksandra Gaca, this pattern translates a sculptural weaving aesthetic into knitting. Its bold geometric lines create a rich, architectural texture, typical of the Gaca collection.

Pattern comes in both instructions : written pattern and chart.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Finished dimensions: 65 cm x 20.5 cm (27” x 8”).

Gauge 20 stitches x 24 rows = 10 cm (4”) in stockinette stitch, using 5.5 mm (US 9) needles, measured after blocking.

MATERIALS
This pattern can be made with two yarn options:

Version 1 (Grey):
Yarn: Manchelopi by Wooldreamers (100% Manchega wool).
Format: 100 g “plate” (unspun cake) = 230 m (253 yds).
Quantity: Approx. 40 g (one plate makes 2 bandanas).

Version 2 (Orange):
Yarn: A blend of 1 strand of DK wool (vintage) + 2 strands of lace mohair (Custom colour by Émilia & Philomène).
Quantity: 55 g of DK yarn and 25 g of mohair.

Needles and Notions
❖ 5.5 mm (US 9) circular or straight needles.
❖ 2 or 4 buttons (12 to 15 mm / ½“ diameter).
❖ Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

BANDANA GACA

Inspiré par les textiles tridimensionnels de la designer Aleksandra Gaca, ce modèle traduit une esthétique de tissage sculptural. Ses lignes géométriques marquées créent une texture riche et architecturale, typique de ma collection GACA.

Le patron viens dans ces deux types d’instructions : écrites et en grille.

INFORMATIONS TECHNIQUES
Dimensions finales : 65 cm x 20,5 cm (27 po x 8 po).

Échantillon 20 mailles x 24 rangs = 10 cm (4 po) en jersey, avec des aiguilles 5,5 mm (US 9), mesuré après blocage.

FOURNITURES
Ce modèle peut être réalisé avec deux options de fils :

Version 1 (Grise) :
Fil : Manchelopi par Wooldreamers (100% laine de mouton Manchega).
Format : Galette (“plate”) de 100 g = 230 m (253 vgs).
Quantité : Environ 40 g (une galette permet de tricoter 2 bandanas).

Version 2 (Orange) :
Fil : Mélange de 1 brin de laine DK (vintage) + 2 brins de mohair dentelle (Couleur sur mesure par Émilia & Philomène).
Quantité : 55 g de fil DK et 25 g de mohair.

Aiguilles et Accessoires
❖ Aiguilles circulaires ou droites de 5,5 mm (US 9).
❖ 2 ou 4 boutons (diamètre 12 à 15 mm / ½ po).
❖ Aiguille à laine pour rentrer les fils.
