Gaelic Mist
Pattern Description from A Fine Fleece: “Gaelic Mist began as an overengineered sweater that forced me to step back and just envision the essence of what I was trying to achieve. I took advantage of the entwining and undulating cable repeat and the organic shaping it formed at the lower edges. The soft flare at the hem is reminiscent of a peplum, and the sleeve cuffs are subtle bells. Leaving the upper body and sleeves in reverse stockinette stitch and closing off the cables make the perfect impression of the treetops disappearing into a cold mist.”
