A gajra is a floral garland worn by Indian women during weddings and other religious ceremonies.
Sizes: Women’s small (medium, large), leg circumference approximately 7 (8, 9)” unstretched. Sample shown in size medium.
Materials:
• 1 skein Schoeller+Stahl Fortissima Color (75% Superwash Virgin Wool, 25% Nylon; 420m, 100g.), color 164 reds and pinks shadow color, or similar fingering weight yarn.
• 1 set of size US0 (2.0mm) double point knitting needles (or size required for gauge)
• Tapestry needle
Gauge: 36 sts and 52 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch. For additional sizes, try working at 34 or 38 sts = 4”.
