Galang! Shawl
Galang! (Jamaican Patwah for “Go away”) show you what a shawl can be, regardless of the weight and construction of the yarn. This top-down triangle knit includes instruction for two soothing and meditative stitch options. The design features a lace section, giving it enough detailing to be interesting while feeling familiar. As the name of the pattern indicates, go away, and let me knit in peace, if only for a bit!

PATTERN NOTES
Galang! is a simple top-down triangle shawl with an inlay lace pattern. The pattern gives you two options for the body - garter or stockinette. You decide which best highlight your yarn. Because this pattern is so versatile, you can use any weight; choose a needle size at least three times larger than the manufacturer’s recommendation for that yarn weight.
