The scarf base is worked widthwise using short rows to shape the ends. Stitches are picked up for the tendrils, worked in simple lace, which are also shaped using short rows.

Featured yarn:
Tanis Fiber Arts amber label (260 yd / 238 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein, 75% Merino, 15% Cashmere, 10% silk); 2 skeins in Papaya (MC), 1 skein Royal Flush (CC).

Gauge:
22 sts and 40 rows = 4” / 10 cm in garter stitch before blocking.
18 stitches and 40 rows = 4” / 10 cm after steam blocking.
