Galicia
Designed by Claudia Q
Galicia is a region of Spain known for its diverse landscapes of both green forests and glorious mountain ranges. This cardigan was designed to be warm enough for a trip to the snowy peaks, while the delicate flower pattern is an ode to the enchanting woods.
The cardigan is knit from the top down with a circular yoke. A small section of short rows is worked at the back of the neck and above the hem for a more comfortable fit. Embroidery is worked from a diagram. Linings for pockets, front bands and neck are drafted, cut from fabric and sewn in place by hand.
