Game of Waves is a triangular, asymmetric shawl in two colours. It is worked sideways in one piece and features two different wavy lace patterns, separated by garter stitch rows. All pattering is worked on the right side rows.

The shawl is worked in fingering weight yarn and the instructions are given for one size only, but the shawl size is easily adaptable by working fewer or more repeats of Chart 3.

The sample shawl is made with approx. 770 yds (700m) of fingering weight yarn, 440 yds (400m) in colour A and 330 yds (300m) Colour B. Other yarn weights are possible, simply adjust the needle size and yardage requirements.

The yarn used is Araucania Nuble fingering weight, 75% Merino, 25% silk, 273 yds (250m) per 50g skein.
2 skeins col. 212 Emerald Isle (Colour A),
2 skeins col. 215 Morning Dew (Colour B).

The shawl in the delicious summer berry colours is made with
Ripples Crafts Hand dyed yarns Quinag Blue faced Leicester, 100% wool, 437 yds (400 m) per 100g skein.
1 skein col. Ripe Rowan Berries
1 skein col. Crushed Berries

The instructions are in form of charts and as fully written instructions.
