Pattern available in English and Italian.

“Game Over” is a unisex hat knit bottom-up.
The first colour is used to knit a ribbed border.
Next, a stranded motif is worked introducing the second and third colours. The pattern is not difficult to follow but you still need to pay attention since a few rounds will be worked with all three colours.
The hat is finished using the second colour.

Size:
One size; stretches to fit head circumferences 50 – 56 cm / 19 ¾ – 22 in.

Finished measurements:
Brim circumference: 50 cm – 19 ¾ in.
Length: 25 cm – 9 ¾ in.

Yarn and needles:
DARK OMEN YARN “Game Over Kit” (DK weight yarn; 100% merino: 3 skeins):
Colour 1 (C1): Urbane (grey); 1 skein (90 m – 99 yds);
Colour 2 (C2): Sabnock (black); 1 skein (70 m – 77 yds);
Colour 3 (C3): Asmodeus (orange); 1 skein (40 m – 44 yds). The yardage indicated is the actual amount used.
Circular needles:
3.5 mm – US 4 with a 40 cm – 24 in cable;
4 mm – US 6 with a 40 cm – 24 in cable;
set of DPNs 4 mm – US 6 for binding off (or circular needle with an 80 cm – 32 in cable for Magic Loop method).
If necessary, please adjust needle size to obtain the specified gauge.
Other:
11 stitch markers, one different from the others to mark the beginning of the round.
Tapestry needle and scissors.
Gauge:
20 sts and 28 rounds = 10 cm – 4 in in st st (or following the stranded motif) using needles 4 mm – US 6 (after blocking).

“Game Over” è un berretto unisex realizzato a partire dal basso.
Si incomincia a lavorare con il primo colore il bordo a coste.
In seguito si procede con un motivo a fili passati introducendo anche il secondo e il terzo colore. Il motivo non è difficile da seguire, ma occorre comunque prestare attenzione, in quanto alcuni giri saranno lavorati usando tutti e tre i colori.
Si finisce il berretto usando il secondo colore.

Taglie:
Taglia unica; il berretto può vestire una testa di 50/56 cm.

Misure finite:
Circonferenza del bordo: 50 cm.
Lunghezza: 25 cm.

Colore 1 (C1): Urbane (grigio); 1 matassa (90 m);

Ferri circolari:
numero 3.5 mm e 4 mm con cavo lungo 40 cm;
un gioco di ferri 4 mm (se non li possedete, potete usare il metodo del magic loop con un cavo da 80 cm). Se necessario modificare il numero dei ferri per ottenere il campione corretto.
Altro:
11 marcapunti di cui uno diverso (che segnala l’inizio del giro).
Ago da lana e forbici.

Campione:
20 m e 28 giri = 10 cm lavorati a maglia rasata (o seguendo il motivo a fili passati) usando i ferri 4 mm (dopo il bloccaggio).
