Join my new group Designs by Eliza Callan for any pattern chat/support.
Gamut - the word Gamut refers to ‘the full range of something’.
This pattern will give you a full range of unique squares from your 3 contrast colours. Pattern includes planning chart.
Fully written pattern in US terms with helpful pictures.
Skill level - Easy. Suitable for a confident beginner upwards.
Designed to be suitable as a crocheters first ‘join-as-you-go’ project.
Yarn - Suitable for both DK and Aran / Worsted yarns.
DK will give a throw/blanket of approx 1m square (3ft 3in sq).
Using Aran/worsted yarn will give a larger end result up to 120cm square (3ft 10in), all depending on gauge.
Do not alter the pattern to change the size - alter the yarn choice.
DK acrylic
4mm hook.
Yarn use in g for DK :
Total 450g = 300g Main colour and 100g each of 3 contrast colours
Aran / worsted yarn
4.5mm hook.
Finished product 30 oz
Yarn use in oz for worsted weight :
Total 30oz = 15oz main colour and 5oz of 3 contrast colours
Block to make the blanket perfectly flat.
