Gape
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
“Gape” is the self-important older sister to Ultrabland. Like Ultrabland, she was designed to turn small amounts of yarn into large amounts of fabric. The pictured shawl used only 1 and half balls of wool dk.
Unlike Ultrabland, however, she is triangular and the lace pattern quickly forms strong geometric lines across her simple, 6 row repeat.
This pattern is suitable for any yarn and any needle size. The bigger the needle, the further your meterage will stretch. Smaller needles will give your fabric a sense of density and structure.
Perfect for show-casing special yarns or using up left-overs from bigger projects.
