Garden Gnome
This charming garden gnome is a delightful companion for your windowsill, bookshelf or garden table. With its pointy hat, chubby cheeks, and fluffy beard, it adds instant cheer to your space. The gnome is crocheted in separate pieces using the amigurumi technique and then sewn together. A fun and satisfying project for any season – and especially perfect for spring and summer!
Size Options
Finished height: approx. 25 cm
One size is provided, but the gnome’s size can be adjusted by using thicker yarn and a larger hook.
Gauge
Gauge is not critical, but make sure your stitches are tight enough to prevent stuffing from showing. Work in continuous rounds.

Scheepjes Catona (100% cotton, 25 g / 62.5 m):
263 Petal Peach (skin tone) – 1 ball
164 Light Navy (body, arms) – 1 ball
115 Hot Red (hat) – 1 ball
110 Jet Black (boots) – 1 ball
522 Primrose (belt) – 10 g
Scheepjes Softy (fluffy beard & mustache):
White 494 – 1 ball
Hooks: 2.5 mm & 3.5 mm
Notions:
Fiberfill stuffing
6 mm safety eyes
Scissors, stitch markers, darning needle
Yarn Requirements
Total yarn: approx. 100–120 g, depending on your tension
Each Catona shade: 1 ball is sufficient
Softy yarn: approx. half a ball used
Tip: This project is great for using leftover cotton yarns.
