Gardener's Pillow
The oversized daisy motif on the Gardener’s Pillow makes for a whimsical, colorful addition to an outdoor seating area, or anywhere that needs a pop of color. Worked in the round in tapestry double crochet, this project will come together more quickly than you might think. A 100% cotton yarn gives a structured yet natural feel to the fabric, while keeping it easy to care for.

Finished Size 16” square.
Yarn Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Yarn (distributed by Yarnspirations) (100% cotton; 80 yd 73 m/1¾ oz 50 g): #084 sage green (A), 6 balls; #001 white (B), 2 balls; #030 pale yellow (C), 1 ball.
Hook Size 7 (4.5mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Yarn needle; pillow stuffing.
Gauge 18 dc and 4 rnds (in diameter) = 5” in patt.

Pillow consists of two squares worked separately in rounds, then joined using reverse single crochet.

Make sure that the carried yarn does not constrict the stitches.

To change colors, work to last yarnover in old color, pick up new color, and complete stitch with new color.
