Garter Stitch Pup
Pattern Description from Interweave Knits, Summer 2007: “Bright colors and a jazzy button are sure to delight your favorite pup. Jil Eaton used two strands of wool to make a sweater that’s as practical as it is pretty. The dense wool of the coat will shed water and provide warmth. Velcro fastenings make it easy to slip the coat on and off a busy furred friend.”
“Jil Eaton, author of Puppy Knits and Top Dog Knits (Breckling Press, 2005 and 2006), knows a thing or two about making your pup happy. Two strands of yarn held together make a coat that’s colorful, warm, durable, and sheds water. Add a patterned button and a little Velcro, and your poock is ready to step out in the jazzy Garter Stitch Pup Jacket.”
