Garter Turtleneck
Pattern description from Knit Simple Magazine, Holiday 2006: “It’s the ideal starter sweater: Anyone who can knit garter stitch can ply this long, swingy-sleeved turtleneck.”
Knit Tip: “The sleeved body is worked sideways in one piece, so the only significant sewing involves attaching the separately knit cowl.”
Materials:
- Duchess by Classic Elite Yarns, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 75yd/69m (wool/viscose/cashmere/angora/nylon)
- 19 (21, 23, 25, 26) balls in #1009 proud peacock
- One pair size 10½ (6.5mm) circular needles, 36”/91cm length
- Stitch holders

Notes:
- Pullover is made vertically in one piece from left cuff to right cuff.
- Circular needles are used to accommodate the large amount of sts.
