Materials
• Wisdom Yarns Poems Sock 75% superwash merino wool, 25% polyamide, 100 g / 459 yds per skein, 1
skein. Shown in color 962 (Open Seas).
• Set of 4 U.S. Size 1.5 (2.5 mm) double-pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge. Alternatively,
use one or two circular needles in appropriate size as desired.
• Waste yarn
• 2 safety pins
• Tapestry Needle

Notes:
These mitts are made by knitting the ribbed cuff in the round, then working back and forth on 2 needles to spiral around the arm. At first, you use up the live stitches from the cuff by working them together with the back and forth part, and then you continue making spiraling rounds around the arm/hand. There is no sewing – when you knit the spiraling portion, you attach it to the slipped selvedge edge from the preceding “spiral round”.
