This cowl was originally designed for Knitters’ Day Out 2018.

This pattern was inspired by time spent at Knitters’ Day Out and what the event means to the knitting community. For an evening and a day, knitters from around the country gather together to celebrate the craft we all love so much. Whether it is through classes, meeting old friends (and new ones!), or supporting vendors in the marketplace.

Designed for a DK or Worsted weight yarn, this cowl will be perfect for autumn and winter wear. Use up your stash to make this, or support your local yarn shop and grab yarn from them! Either way we hope that you will all wear your Gathering Place cowls during the Knitters’ Day Out event.
