The Gatineau Hills Hat was inspired by a drive through the Gatineau Park, where snow-covered trees line the landscape. The textured stitch pattern forms little triangular shapes that resemble a forest of snowy trees. It reminds me of simple cartoon-style trees drawn in winter scenes.

This cozy hat is warm, comfortable, and enjoyable to knit, with an unique stitch pattern that keeps things interesting. The end result is a beautifully textured fabric.
