Gehry Wrap was designed with Frank Gehry, a Canadian-American architect known for quirky exteriors, in mind. In particular, Gehry wrap was inspired by the Dancing House (pictured).

The shawl utilizes short rows and simple lace to get the effect shown. The repeats can be worked as many times as desired.

As written, the shawl takes less than half of one skein of The Unique Sheep Marici.

This shawl was orginally designed for The Unique Sheep’s Inspired by Art Club.

Featured Work: Dancing House by Frank Gehry

Style: Deconstructionism and Post-Structuralism
Frank Gehry is regarded as one of the most important architects of the modern age. It is hard to pin down his style since he draws from everything from classical art to 1960’s “funk”. Unlike modernists, in his designs form does not necessarily follow function. He uses unusual combinations of material to create complex designs that challenge modern paradigms of architecture.
