The pattern pictured makes a baby blanket measuring 64 x 90cm (25” x 35.5”) making it the ideal size for a pram or capsule.

But add or take away the number of squares and you can easily make it any size you like – from cushion to queen bed size. You decide.

Skill level: if you can crochet a granny square and read a pattern (written in US terms) then you can do it! Once you’ve made one square, the rest are a breeze.

Materials used:
8ply yarn gives a nice weight to this design, however it would also work in cotton if you’d like a lighter blanket.
