Fayetteville has a lot to offer in the way of local jewelry artists and artisans! I picked up a few pieces as Christmas gifts, but decided that they needed to be given in something prettier than a cardboard box. And if I can stash-bust at the same time, all the better! These work up very quickly, and are sweet enough to be a gift in themselves.
It takes 30 yards of fingering weight yarn (I used Spud & Chloe Fine, Colinette Jitterbug, and Vice yarns Carnal for the orange, blue, and pink, respectively) If it’s easier or you don’t have a way to measure, that’s about 8 grams.
This will make a bag with a 4” circumference - if you want it larger or smaller, have fun playing with other yarns/needle sizes!
This is pattern #13 in the Local Flavor collection. The designs in this collection were inspired by the town I live in and love. Photos are shot around town, and supplies, props, and additional garments are also local (to the best of my ability).
