Fair Isle style toque. Colors of gold and precious gemstones such as sapphires, rubies and emeralds adorn this little cap within a framework of traditional all-over stranded pattern. A simple rolled stockinette brim and matching top knot finish the hat.

You may choose to knit in the 11 different colors suggested or choose your own. Yardage is minimal for each color which makes this a great project to use up small amounts of yarns leftover from other projects.

Charts are given both in color and simply with the patterning in black & white. Although this looks complicated, the pattern is quickly memorized. Hat is knit in the round from the brim to the top knot crown.
