Gemstone Soup
by Cindy Craig
Gemstone Soup uses 3 different sock yarns. Each yarn is carried alone for one row and is navajo plyed (chain-plyed) as you knit it. It’s like finger crochet with giant loops.
The yarn requirements are:
1200-1725 yds of Color A
1025-1550 yds of Color B
1025-1550 yds of Color C
Yardage numbers above represent total yardage range.
24-inch circular needles in each size are suggested for use in the pattern, with an option to use a 36-inch 5.5mm/US9 circular needle.
Note: QTY(4) 22mm(7/8”) buttons are required.
