This “literary knit from the Land of Oz” is a seamless dress knitted in the round from the bottom up, beginning with the shell-lace pattern at the hemline. I adapted the pattern from the Pretty Petticoat for a Child of Four in volume 8 of Weldon’s Practical Needlework.
