The Genesis Sweater holds a very special place in my heart. This was one of my first self-published patterns in 2018. Like the Genesis Fringe Scarf, I was also inspired by knit sweaters and wanted something similar in crochet. This sweater is made with a chunky wool blend that gives cozy comfort in each stitch. If you’re a beginner or experienced crocheter, you’ll sure have fun flying through this quick project. Grab your favorite chunky yarn and hook and get lost in the simplicity of crocheting.

This redesigned and updated pattern is written in US standard terms for size XS with sizes (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X) in parentheses. Designed to fit snugly with bust measurements from 26-58”/ 66-147cm. Sweater is to be worn with up to 4”/10cm of negative ease. Tension and yarn choice may yield different results.
