From the article introduction: These delicate lace gloves are worked from the pattern, translated from the French by Annelis Lauchli, that we found in a box at Geneva’s Plainpalais Market. While the original pattern called for the gloves to be made from fine white cotton yarn, I chose to use alpaca. This scrumptious yarn adds a touch of European chic.
