Knit in the round from the bottom up, German Short Rows curve the ears before moving onto a Trellis pattern for the body of the hat. Looks great either with a pom-pom or left bare. This hat is designed to be slouchy but for a snugger fit you can work fewer repeats of the pattern stitch.
