Gentle Lopi
The Gentle Lopi tunic, is the most snuggly type of rustic (yet cosy sweater).
It is long and wooly, yet airy and drapey as it is knit on a larger gauge. It is very roomy and oversized, which makes it it very comfortable to move in, and do more physical activities like weeding or picking the biggest porcini mushrooms! But sitting my the fire with a cup of hot cocoa and some knitting is perfectly fine too!
My favourite two design elements are: the sleeve construction which is very generous and voluminous, but quite fitted on the cuff. And the braids of course!
These have been so much fun to add! I coudln’t stop using this technique after trying it on the Áine socks for the first time! It can be used in so many different ways, and add such a nice embellishment touch at the end!
