This cosy little hat has a beautiful wave pattern, without creating too many holes to let the wind through!

You will need 3.25 and 3.75mm (US 5) double-pointed needles, (or appropriate needles to meet the gauge).

Yarn: 50, (80, 100) g of any DK weight yarn. I used 80% merino wool,10% cashmere,10% nylon. For the baby version, I used 100% cotton.

Instructions include a fairly simple chart for the lace pattern. If you are not used to charts, this could be a great project to try them out!

Pom pom is optional.

Sizes: 6-12 months, (junior, adult). To fit head circumference 40-45cm, 50cm, 60cm. 1 (2, 3).
