Gentle Waves Scarf

This scarf may be made with fingering, sport, DK, or worsted weight yarn and in nearly any fiber. Generally, smooth yarns look best.
It is a way for new crocheters to practice increases and decreases. The lower photo shows some of my students (with me) wearing their Gentle Waves Scarves.
For the version pctured, I used Jojoland Melody Superwash (100% wool); the pattern also shows a worsted weight version made in Lorna’s Laces Lion & Lamb (50% wool, 50% silk).
