Gentle Whisper is a beautiful sweater with a leafy yoke pattern worked in the round from the top down. The yoke shaping is incorporated into the leafy lace pattern.

Errata
Unfortunately there was an error in the original pattern. I’ve posted a photo of the new chart. Refer to the original pattern in the magazine for the chart key. The green square is ‘refer to chart notes’.

Chart notes: Rounds 10, 12, 14, 28, 30, 32 and 34: K to end, k1. Start next round here.
Round 16: K to last stitch. Start next round here.

Back neck shaping:
Row 1 – purl 48, w&t (stitch 49)
Row 2 – k these 48 sts back to the marker at the beginning of the row, slip this marker, knit three sts (96-94), w&t (93)
Although you have gone past the marker, you are not working in the round, because you have turned at the end of Row 2.
Row 3 – purl sts 94-96, slip marker, purl sts 1-48 to wrapped st, work wrap tog with st (49), p3 (50-52), w&t (53)
Row 4 – k 52 sts back to marker*
