Notes From the Designer:
•A color-pooling cowl! Use any yarn weight and opt for a colorway with long bands of color.
•As a child, my daughter was always fascinated by geodes. And why not? How something so entirely ordinary looking could contain such a colorful, glittery interior was borderline magical! People can be like geodes. Perhaps unassuming on the outside, but once you get them to open up, they may surprise you with a truly lovely, sparkly soul.
•The idea of geodes is what influenced the design of this cowl. Based on a simple 4x4 rib, the stitch pattern changes to seed stitch as the color changes. Using this lovely pearlescent yarn, the seed stitch creates both texture and shine.
•The directions for this cowl are more of an explanation of method (or a recipe), rather than specific stitch and row numbers. Once the method is understood, you may adapt it to create a smaller or larger cowl or scarf.
