Geometric Accessory Bags: Square
Pattern description from One Skein: “If you’re like me, you can never have too many little bags to organize accessories, makeup, and small treasures. I used a variety of crochet stitches and geometric shapes for the three shown here. Each bag takes far less than a skein of yarn, so there’s no reason you can’t make all three. But be forewarned, the more you make, the more you’ll want!”
Finished Size: About 5” (12.5 cm) square.
Yarn:
- Worsted-weight (CYCA Medium #4) yarn.
- Louet MerLin Camelot (70% worsted-spun merino wool, 30% wet-spun linen; 156 yd 143 m/100 g): #85 sunflower.
Hook:
- Sizes F/5 (3.75 mm) and H/8 (5 mm).
- Change hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle; 7” (18 cm) zipper for rectangle and circle bag; sewing needle and matching thread.
Note: The square bag is worked in one piece in a long strip, beginning at the top edge of one side, working down around the bottom, and back up to the top edge of the other side.
