This shawl springs from the encounter between a multicoloured and a solid-coloured yarn. Add to this an openwork pattern and geometrical shapes underlined by garter stitch. The result is a shawl that is easy to knit, yet rich with elegant details.

The triangular Geometry in blue is knitted top-down and increases outwards/downwards.

The pattern is written and completed with a chart for the lace stitch pattern.

In the shawl in the photos, I’ve used yarn from my own stash. I recommend substituting them with Mini Mochi for the multicoloured yarn and fingering weight merino for the solid-coloured one. You will need 2 balls of each.

Ce châle est né de la rencontre d’un fil multicolore et un fil uni. S’y est ajouté un point ajouré, et des formes géométriques mises en valeur par le point mousse. Tout en étant facile à réaliser, Géométrie en bleu est un châle riche en détails raffinés.

Ce châle triangulaire est tricoté à partir du milieu haut, et s’agrandit au fur et à mesure.

Les explications sont données par écrit, et sont complétées par une grille pour le point ajouré.

Pour le châle photographié, j’ai utilisé des fils de mon stock personnel. Je vous propose de les remplacer par de la Mini Mochi pour le fil multicolore et du mérinos fin pour le fil uni. Il vous en faudra 2 pelotes de chaque.

Den här modellen, designad av EclatDuSoleil, börjar med mötet mellan ett flerfärgat och ett enfärgat garn. Till det kommer ett spetsmönster och geometriska former som understryks med rätstickning. Resultatet är en sjal som är lätt att sticka, men är fylld med eleganta detaljer.

Geometri i blått får sin trekantsform genom ökningar nedåt/utåt från utgångspunkten högst upp i mitten.

Beskrivningen ges i textform och kompletteras med ett diagram för spetsmönstret.

I sjalen som fotograferats här använde EclatDuSoleil garn som hon redan hade hemma. Hon rekommenderar Mini Mochi till de flerfärgade sektionerna och tunn merinoull till de enfärgade. 2 nystan av varje går åt.
